The Innovations in education Symposium 2008 was held on April 11th, 2008 at the UConn Health Center. Attendees were provided with a full day of activities include a keynote presentation by Dr. Grace Huang and Ms. Susan Albright. Presenters from various backgrounds presented their innovative educational ideas throughout the day. Presenters provided posters, workshops, demonstrations, and formal presentations for which attendees pre-registered.

The symposium was an all day event with scheduled sessions and a vendor/poster area in the Academic Lobby. Attendees were given a complelementary lunch during the afternoon keynote presentation. Overall attendees provided positive feedback about the entire day with most people considering Dr. Grace Huang's keynote on Assessment of Competence the highlight.
