Presentation Types
All presentations should encompass research, reports, findings, innovations related to education. The deadline for submissions is March 10, 2008. Presentation options for the symposium are as follows:
- Formal Presentations
- Presentation Length: AMT
- Presentation Location: Auditorium or MDL Classroom
- Description: Formal presentations allow participants to showcase a paper, study, course, etc that they have produced.
- Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit the following:
- A Call for Presentations Proposal Form
- A 1-5 page paper on their topic (optional)
- Equipment Provided: PC Computer or Laptop & Projector

- Demonstrations
- Presentation Length: AMT
- Presentation Location: Library Classroom or MDL Classroom
- Description: Demonstrations allow participants to demonstrate best practices in education, innovative uses of technology and software, etc to audience members.
- Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit the following:
- A Call for Presentations Proposal Form
- A 1-3 page paper about their demonstration (optional)
- Equipment Provided: PC Computer or Laptop & Projector

- Poster Presentations
- Presentation Length: Available all day
- Presentation Location: Academic Lobby
- Description: Poster Presentations provide an outlet where participants can display their projects and developments. Although typically poster presenters do not get a formal speaking time, availability of the poster presentations allows attendees to view and discuss projects throughout the day.
- Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit the following:
- A Call for Presentations Proposal Form
- A 1-3 page paper about their poster (optional)
- Equipment Provided: Table, chair, wireless connection, electricity

- Workshops
- Presentation Length: AMT
- Presentation Location: Library Classrooms or MDL Classrooms
- Description: Workshops are interactive presentations that allow the attendees to learn, participate, and try out methods discussed by the presenter. Though many workshops relate directly to software and technology, workshops are not restricted to these formats.
- Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit the following:
- A Call for Presentations Proposal Form
- A 1-3 page paper about their workshop (optional)
- Equipment Provided: PC Computer or Laptop (for presenter and attendees*) & Projector
* If you workshop does not require a computer for attendees, please include that in your proposal.
