PowerPoint
Q. I'm noticing that my PowerPoint presentation is getting to be really large file (taking up a lot of memory). Is there anything I can do to reduce the file size without removing some of the content?
A. Check to be sure that you have inserted your images and not pasted them into your PowerPoint presentation. Inserting your images will keep the file size much smaller.
Q. How do I print just the slides of the PPT without the background?
A. In PowerPoint, go to the "Format" menu and select "Slide Design." Change the design template to "Black and White." When printing, go to the drop-down menu under "Color/Grayscale" and select "Pure Black and White."
Equipment
Q. Do you have a remote control (to control a PowerPoint presentation) that I can use in the MDLs and Lecture halls?
A. Yes. Stop by the FITS office in AM-015 to borrow the remote control.
Q. What kinds of scanners do you have available, and will somebody be able to help me?
A. There are Slide, Document, X-Ray (Transparency), and 3-D scanners located through the FITS office. For help with the scanners, contact Timberley Barber (x2851).
Q. I have to give a lecture/presentation, but I don't have a laptop or projector. Do you have one I can borrow?
A. Yes. You may reserve a laptop and/or projector for curricular use only. Stop by the FITS office in AM-015 to reserve the equipment. We'll also show you how to set it up. We recommend that make your reservation well in advance of your lecture/presentation to ensure that the equipment isn't already signed out.

A. Yes! Just get in touch with us and we can review the test content and available delivery methods with you.
Q. I want to make sure my course's learning objectives are aligned with my test questions. Can you assist me with this? (pedagogical support/ faculty coaching and faculty-requested projects)
